DJ Bedz aka Cassidy Bednark has taken his DJ career from Boulder, Colorado all the way to Brazil. His fascination with rap music began when his mom bought him Run DMC’s “King of Rock.” While attending Occidental College in Los Angeles, Bedz studied the dynamics of sex, class, and race while majoring in Music Composition. After graduation he returned to Colorado to pursuit deejaying full time, and subsequently dropped thousands of mixes earning him the title of “Mixtape King of Colorado.”

Starting out as a weekend mixer on KS107.5, Bedz has contin-ued working for many radio stations including Denver’s 95.7 The Party, XM 66 Raw and he now calls Flo 107.1 home. Due to his indelible presence he became the official team DJ of the Denver Nuggets and began collecting official titles from there including official DJ for the Denver Bron-cos and Colorado University Buffaloes. His latest feat came in his role as DJ for basketball games for the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil. DJ Bedz will help to carry the entertainment torch in the Rocky Mountain region for a long, long time.
