DJ Jesse James was born in Denver and was raised by the wolverines of the Southern California wilderness. After serving as a Marine, Jesse returned to Denver to be with his family and his nightlife career began. Starting as a light operator and bouncer he became intrigued by the DJs that were creating the party with great music and people dancing. His musical appreciation start-ed young, due to his dad’s role in bands and musical sermons. So it made sense when a few DJs took Jesse under their wings and made him play the same record over and over until he got it right. He continued his training by carrying crates for other DJs until he earned his time on the tables doing private events for schools and businesses as well as weddings and bar/bar mitzvahs. The DJ now plays many venues in Denver including a three-year run at Stoney’s Bar & Grill dur-ing Broncos games.

DJ Jesse James paid his dues in the DJ circuit to be where he is today. He can be found DJing at Stoney’s Bar & Grill every given Sunday.
